Hi Carl, You were fantastic on FNL on Friday night, I only watched it because of you, without prior knowledge from the forum about this, I would never have known anything, as I am no Big Brother fan, I actually only did watch it, whenever your name was called out, I just turned up the volume on the tv louder, so I could hear when you came on. Hi Carl, Great show at the Gov in Adelaide and really loving your album. Would have preferred to hear 'That's alright with me' and 'Bye bye love' (both of which were fantastic sing/jazz renditions on idol) to 'Lido shuffle' and 'Girl from Ipanema' which are both from such a specific time and place and so American. You are really unique with your voice and trumpet playing - just don't sing too many 'soppy' songs. Looking forward to the next developments in your career!!

Hi Carl, Last night, Saturday 31st May 2008, I saw you perform at Bennetts Lane Jazz Club. I am so glad that I came and it was such a pleasure to meet you. The venue created such intimacy with the crowd, the band was amazing (especially the bass player, he could really work those fingers), and "You" well what more can I say. Heyy, I just wanted to thank u 4 ur awsome gig at the Governor Hindmarsh in Adelaide on wed. It was really nice cos no one eva comes to Adelaide (let alone some1 as awsome as you.) Hi Carl I am interested in booking you for a large community Carols by Candlelight which is held on Sunday 7th December in Pelican Waters on the Sunshine Coast. It is a fantastic event, with large custom built stage, professional stage management, technicals, sound and lighting all done by The Events Centre in Caloundra. There are many varied entertainers, some national and some local. We support a local charity by asking for a gold coin donation on arrival and the local independent school who host the event in their grounds also fundraise from stalls and rides. Last year we had Joelene Anderson (All Saints) and Jodi Gordon (Home and Away) MC for us and we had a crowd of around 4000 people. This years carols will be bigger and better and I know you would be a really wonderful addition to our show. We have a great 4 hotel in Pelican Waters - Crown Plaza so accomodation is not a problem. Could you please let me know if you are available and at what cost. We rely totally on sponsorship for this community event so obviously we have to budget early and raise funds well in advance. oh wow. Carl was simply awesome tonight!!!!!!! WHAT A SHOW!!!!!! WAAAHOOO!!! If anyone hasn't got a ticket to see him in his upcoming shows, I highly recommend you click on the links on this page and get yourself some cos if you don't you'll be missing out on one FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!!! Carl was soooo gorgeous, funny, witty, charming and the songs and music were awesome!! His voice sounded just beautiful in the slow songs and so HOT in the others and I just didnt want the show to end!!! He got a standing ovation and at the end,the audience refused to go home..the band came out and sang another song....then the audience were making so much noise again, Carl came out by himself for one last song!! Oh it was one of the best nights of my life and we even got to meet Carl afterwards!!! Mind you, I was so nervous and my mind went a total blank and I could hardly put two words together let alone ask any of the questions I had planned to ask him!! He was soooo gorgeous!!!!! anyway...get out there and buy your tickets everyone!!!! And thanks Carl for tonight...it was everything I could ever have hoped for and more!!!! I was so glad you had the chance to make your first album (often people seem to disappear afer Idol) - it is great. Good song choice and you are interpreting the lyrics well. It is like you are telling a story. The big band and you are like one. I wished you would be more often in radio and TV. Maybe you have to make yourself unique by interpreting some complete new songs, which nobody sang before. Good luck for everything Ute

Hey Carl, Just wanted to let you know that i love your album. I know a few of the guys who played on your album and the band sounds great. Your album just says musical integrity. You really love what you do and are a true star. There is something about a muso becoming a singer. Phrasing and time are so important and many of the "jazz" singers just don't have it, but you have it in spades. Gonna hear you at the Govener Hindmarsh in Adelaide and can't wait.
